I heard that the Claas Lexion 580 combine harvester set a record in the early 2010s for crop yield. In just 8 hours, this machine managed to achieve a result of 523 tons. This information greatly intrigued me, so I decided to rent this powerful machine for one season. As a result of its operation, we understood why this combine harvester delivers such impressive results. It turns out that it needs to be equipped with a GPS navigator so that it can strictly follow a predetermined trajectory without deviating from its course. The only thing that prevents me from purchasing this combine harvester is the high prices of its spare parts.

In the car park, there is a Claas Lexion 450 combine harvester. After winter, I decided to clean the machine. The hopper and buttons were fine, but there was an unfamiliar noise. I took out two halves of the variator pulley from the front part and cleaned them. I couldn't reach the remaining parts. The repair manual stated that complete disassembly was necessary in such cases. I didn't dare to disassemble the machine, so I turned to the service center. They fixed the issue, but it cost me a lot.

Recently had the opportunity to use the Claas Trion. It's a robust machine with reliable functionality. The comfort level during long hours is commendable, and the service intervals seem thoughtfully designed. Yet, I found the cleaning process after extended use to require some extra effort. Nevertheless, it performs favorably in demanding conditions. Certainly a dependable piece of equipment.

I’ve recently had the opportunity to use a Claas Lexion 480 for some serious fieldwork. The engine, being a Mercedes, performed reliably, delivering ample power for all operations. However, I noticed the lifting cylinder required some attention, a minor yet necessary maintenance aspect. The cab's comfort was acceptable; cleaning revealed its well-maintained state despite its age. Overall, aside from usual wear, it did its job effectively.

I've recently had a season's experience with the Claas Trion, and I must admit it has some standout features. The cab is spacious with intuitive controls, which makes long hours more manageable. The key access to panels is a clever addition, reducing hassle during inspections. However, I noticed that during colder weather, the fuel filter tended to freeze, which caused some unexpected delays. Maintenance-wise, the centralized lubrication system and easy access to critical points are time-savers. Overall, a reliable choice with room for small improvements.

Been driving combines for over 20 years. Spent a full day on the Claas Trion on an 11 ha field. Engine is Cummins 353 hp - plenty of power, at 8.4 km/h we ran with 64% load on the threshing and 62% on the engine, so it hardly strained. Grease points are grouped together and the schedule is stamped right there (50 engine hours), filter comes off easy. The CEB monitor is simple and useful: shows bunker fill, threshing load, speed and engine load so you can react fast. Not flashy, just sensible service layout and clear instrumentation. Minor gripe: some settings took a minute to find on the screen, but once set it was steady.

Just started using the Claas Trion for my operations. It’s certainly powerful and can manage intensive tasks. Although, I find maintenance slightly more involved than earlier models, which isn’t always convenient during tight schedules. But, its endurance during continuous use is impressive, and it’s reasonably comfortable for extended hours.
